ANNUAL FALL PHILANTHROPY EVENT
Wing Bash is Zeta Pi’s annual fall philanthropy event where students, professors, and local Athens residents enjoy all you can eat wings and sides and some local entertainment! Local bands play live and special guests have the chance to compete in a wing eating contest. Last Wing Bash, we raised over $13,000! The majority of our proceeds support The SeriousFun Children’s Network.
BITE OF ATHENS
ANNUAL SPRING PHILANTHROPY EVENT
Bite of Athens is our most popular event amongst the Athens communities and even our own members! At Bite of Athens, we have around 20 local restaurants donate bite size portions of their most famous recipes for all of our guests to try! Each guest gets to try around 10 restaurants of their choice ranging from drinks, to breakfast foods, to dinner, and then desserts! This past year we were so lucky to have 4 amazing pop up shops attend our events and sell clothing, jewelry, and more! Guests also get to enjoy live music, t shirt sales, and raffle opportunities during the event! This year at Bite of Athens we were able to send over $14,000 to one of our philanthropies, The SeriousFun Children’s Network.
VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
SPRING PHILANTHROPY EVENT
This year was our second year having our lawn volleyball tournament with another greek life organization! We had 10 teams consisting of 6-8 people compete to win a $300 cash prize! Besides volleyball, it was a day full of spike ball, corn hole, and other lawn games! We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone and even had a visit from the Kona ice truck!
