PARENT FAQs

  • NOW THAT MY DAUGHTER IS A DELTA ZETA, WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Membership in Delta Zeta involves certain obligations on the part of each member. The national requirements include maintaining high academic and moral standards, as well as remain in good standing financially. Aside from obligations, each member has social opportunities with the chapter including sisterhood events and date nights.

  • WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF JOINING DELTA ZETA?

Delta Zeta strives to make each member’s collegiate years a rich and meaningful experience. Our purpose is to add value to your daughter’s college years and beyond. Membership involves many benefits such as academic achievement, campus involvement, leadership development, social success, and networking opportunities.

  • ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

We hold our members to a high academic standard. To encourage academic success, we hold monthly study-ins at the house, offer gift incentives for girls on the Dean's List and with 4.0s, and hold biannual academic banquets.

  • FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Each member has a financial responsibility to remain in good standing of our chapter. The only required fee is our monthly chapter dues. This fee fluctuates but is consistently around $300. Any cost outside of this is completely optional. Optional fees include tickets for social events or Delta Zeta attire. In order to assist with some of these costs, Delta Zeta provides scholarships both locally and nationally that every member is encouraged to apply for.

  • HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED AS A PARENT?

Zeta Pi has our own Facebook page for all of our lovely parents! Additionally, we have weekend events each semester dedicated to spending time with our loved ones (Fall semester’s parents weekend falls on a home gameday!!).
