Hey, I’m Cat!

Hello and welcome to Delta Zeta at UGA! My name is Catherine Berger, and I am so excited and honored to serve as the President for the Zeta Pi chapter of Delta Zeta.

I am from The Woodlands, Texas and I am currently in my third year at UGA. My major is Cellular Biology and I have minors in General Business and Applied Biotechnology. When I’m not doing fun DZ things, I’m usually in the lab working as an Undergraduate Researcher! I also love to bake, hike, and listen to live music, all things made better with the girls in Delta Zeta.

Delta Zeta has blessed me with some of the best friends and memories I have made while at UGA. It is with this amazing chapter’s unwavering love and support that I am the person I am today. I will forever be grateful for my time with these women. The opportunity to join a chapter like Zeta Pi brings with it the most fun-loving, accomplished, and tight knit group of sisters. I can confidently say that I am proud to be in community with them and even more blessed to serve them.

As a chapter, Delta Zeta strives to support our community with multiple philanthropy events and service opportunities. We continuously encourage inclusivity within our programming and hope to be a light for all. We also support the academic and professional pursuits of our women so that they can continue to be successful throughout their collegiate careers and long after graduation. Sisterhood is something we all hold dear as a chapter, and it is found at the heart of all we do. While all events bring us closer in different ways, our true sisterhood events are planned with each member in mind to create memories and friendships for a lifetime. This chapter truly encompasses all there is to being a sorority woman and there is no shortage of opportunities to embrace life with DZ.
